In time for the Banff World Media Festival, Cineflix Rights has closed deals for more than 270 hours of content from leading Canadian production companies.
Can Dogs Talk? from Idéacom International, for CBC Canada, Radio-Canada, PBS Nova USA, and ARTE in France and Germany, has landed with Movistar (Spain), NHK (Japan), and RSI (Switzerland). Little Sapiens is headed to TeleMadrid (Spain).
Titles from Scott Brothers Entertainment remain top sellers globally, with Top of the Block acquired by AMC Multicanal (Iberia), which also opted for Property Brothers: Under Pressure, as did Mediaset (Spain). The first two seasons of Property Brothers: Buying + Selling will air on Mediaset (Spain), while Channel 4’s E4 Extra acquired all seasons of the show.
Shark Teeth Films’ Ancient Justice sold to Hearst (Germany), Building Bad sold to AMC Multicanal (Iberia), and Vanished History was acquired by Mediaset (Italy).
Deep Water Secrets from Cream Productions was also acquired by AMC Multicanal. DRTV chose season two of An Optimist’s Guide to the Planet, made for Bloomberg U.S. and Bell Media.
From Go Button Media, Oracles and Prophets is headed to Foxtel Group (Australia), while Alien Corridors was sold to AMC Multicanal.
Further, TF1 landed season two of Somebody’s Hiding Something and Justice Network US. C3 Media’s Around the World with 30 Kilos was picked up by Mediawan (France).
