DCD Rights Inks Unscripted Sales in CEE

In the lead-up to NEM Dubrovnik, DCD Rights has closed deals for more than 150 hours of non-scripted programming across Central and Eastern Europe.

In Poland, TVP landed 38 hours, including season four of Secret Nazi Bases and Nazi War Machines: Secrets Uncovered, while WP acquired Meghan: Building The Brand, Secret Societies: In the Shadows, and seasons one and two of …From Hell: Caught On Camera.

DOX TV in Croatia, and CS Mystery and CS History in Slovakia & Czechia acquired Your Smartphone Spying On You?, Bodies In The Barrels, Natural Born Killer?, and Deception: World War II.

A package of 29 hours was picked up by LNK Lithuania, including Exploring India With Bettany Hughes and two seasons of Treasures With Bettany Hughes. Five seasons of that show are headed to Ajara TV Georgia.

Other deals include AMC Global Media Central Europe (Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia) taking Prue Leith’s Cotswold Kitchen season three, James Martin’s Spanish Adventure, and Nadiya’s Food Adventure.

James Anderson, senior sales manager at DCD Rights, who negotiated the deals, said,  “Our factual catalog continues to appeal to a broad range of buyers across numerous territories.
