Banijay Rights has clinched a deal to manage the social media presence for British chef, author, and television personality Jeremy Pang.
Yang is a frequent face on British television on shows such as Saturday Kitchen, Sunday Brunch, and Ready Steady Cook. Jeremy Pang’s Hong Kong Kitchen, created with the Hong Kong Tourism Board and produced by Banijay UK’s Electric Robin, aired on ITV and ITVX last year.
Banijay Rights has signed on to oversee Yang’s digital presence across YouTube and Facebook, leveraging shows from his existing catalogue and YouTube channel, School of Wok, while exploring future digital-first opportunities for new content. In the culinary space, Banijay Rights already manages TV chef Mary Berry’s social media pages.
Shaun Keeble, VP Digital, Banijay Rights, said: “Jeremy combines authentic culinary knowledge with a talent for teaching, making him one of the most engaging chefs on screen. This partnership allows us to showcase his skills in new digital formats and create fresh ways to connect with fans and audiences.”
Pang added, “Having produced my own content for almost two decades, I am incredibly proud of how far we have come with our wide range of TV and social media series. We are even more excited for the future on YouTube, and we intend to continue creating fresh and meaningful educational content around food, culture, and travel. I’m sure this deal with Banijay Rights will enhance our viewership and audience across the globe.”
