Talpa Studios’ music game show The Winner Takes It All is being remade in Spain for RTVE.
This is the third territory for the format, which in Spain is being produced in collaboration with Stratos Studios. The show originated on SBS6 in the Netherlands and has been commissioned by France Télévisions.
Sebastian van Barneveld, director of global distribution at Talpa Studios, stated, “It’s fantastic to see The Winner Takes It All continue its international journey. What makes the format stand out is how it combines strategy and singing competition in a way we haven’t seen before. Fifty very different singers, across all genres, face off in a series of high-stakes duels where every performance means one thing: you’re either in or you’re out. Combined with an unpredictable mix of songs and great live music, it creates a competition where every duel feels fresh, and anything can happen. Following its success in the Netherlands and the commissions in France and now Spain, it’s great to see how naturally the concept can travel across different markets and musical cultures.”
