GoQuest Media is partnering with producer Sachin Pandey to jointly develop a new true-crime IP for India, Insaaf Files—Bharat Ka Fightback, with YouTube a key part of the brand’s distribution strategy.
Pandey is the creator of JioHotstar’s Thukra Ke Mera Pyaar, a drama series that was the platform’s most-watched show in 2024.
GoQuest Media will commission and distribute Insaaf Files—Bharat Ka Fightback via traditional licensing and direct-to-consumer on YouTube. The series will explore cases where the justice system failed victims.
“We’re excited to bring our successful make-to-sell model to India with Insaaf Files,” said Vivek Lath, founder and managing director of GoQuest Media. “The collaboration with Sachin Pandey offers a unique opportunity to co-own the IP, develop it with global distribution in mind, and share in the ongoing success across multiple markets. With Sachin, we’re not just commissioning a show, we’re building something with lasting value.”
Pandey added, “Insaaf Files—Bharat Ka Fightback is a project that’s deeply connected to the need for justice and the resilience of ordinary citizens. I’m looking forward to seeing how the YouTube-first approach works alongside traditional distribution methods. This partnership with GoQuest is an exciting opportunity to create something meaningful, and I’m thrilled to see how we can engage audiences through multiple channels and global markets.”
