JinWoo Hwang’s Something Special has promoted InSoon Kim from EVP and head of content to co-CEO and CBO.
Kim, like Hwang, is a CJ ENM alum and previously worked at SBS and FormatEast. She becomes co-CEO alongside Hwang, founder of the Korean format agency.
The company has also upped Moonyoung Song, head of development, to VP. He has been with the company since 2021.
In addition, Donggil Seo has been named head of production and chief producer, replacing Jacob (Jongbin) Han.
“Since we launched in 2019, InSoon has proven to be an instrumental part of our ongoing success,” Hwang stated. “Her insight and creativity have led the team to do their very best. Along with the promotion of Moonyoung to VP and the new head of production, the knowledgeable Donggil, they are going to be key to our next growth level.”
Kim stated: “Working with Jin and the team has been, and will continue to be, a fantastic experience. Together, we have had successes and challenges. There are some very exciting projects in the pipeline, and we are pleased that the talented Donggil Seo will join us on this venture.”
