Lightbox Entertainment and Ladywell Films have landed a new docuseries on Apple TV exploring Romanian yoga “guru” Gregorian Bivolaru, who is currently facing charges in France for human trafficking, kidnapping, and rape.
Premiering next week, the three-part Twisted Yoga, directed by Rowan Deacon (Jimmy Savile: A British Horror Story), follows a group of yoga students who fell under the influence of Bivolaru, who has denied allegations of wrongdoing.
Simon Chinn, Jonathan Chinn, Suzanne Lavery and Bernadette Higgins serve as executive producers.
