ITV and several other broadcasters and platforms are on board for Inside The Langham: Britain’s First Grand Hotel, a new six-part series from Pixie Productions, with Silverlining Rights handling distribution.
Silverlining brokered the ITV deal and presold the show to TV 2 Denmark and SBS Australia. Supported by the Welsh Government via Creative Wales, the series, premiering in the U.K. next week, has also been presold to APT in the U.S., Ananey Paramount in Israel, Sky New Zealand, and RTE for Ireland.
The series of 30-minute episodes goes behind the scenes at the London hotel as it prepares for its 160th anniversary; spotlights Sauce, the first cookery school situated within a central-London luxury hotel; and explores the construction of the new Langham Hotel in Venice.
