UC3, the joint venture between UEFA and European Football Clubs (EFC), has confirmed the preferred bidders for UEFA men’s club competitions in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the U.K.
UC3 began the tender process in early October with agency, Relevent Football Partners.
In France, CANAL+ has secured all rights, with TF1 holding co-exclusive rights to the UEFA Champions League final.
In Germany, Paramount+ has secured the Champions League Tuesday first pick package and all remaining matches and highlights, including the final; Prime Video has secured the Wednesday first pick package; ZDF will deliver Wednesday highlights on a co-exclusive basis. DAZN will offer all UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League rights.
In Italy, Prime Video has landed the Champions League first pick package, with Sky securing all remaining matches, plus UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League rights. In Spain, Telefónica has all the UEFA men’s club tournaments, with RTVE holding co-exclusive rights to the Champions League final.
Paramount secured the Champions League Wednesday first pick package and all remaining matches and highlights, including the final, for the U.K., with the Tuesday package going to Prime Video. BBC has Wednesday highlights on a co-exclusive basis, while Sky holds the Europa League and the Conference League.
