An activation around Banijay Kids & Family’s hit Totally Spies! brand has been developed with the French design and fashion business school SUPMODE, taking place during CANNESERIES.
The beloved animated series marks its 25th anniversary this year. It will be featured during an activation on April 23 in Cannes, with a season eight premiere screening being hosted by Belgian entrepreneur, YouTuber, and Totally Spies! superfan, Gaëlle Garcia Diaz. In parallel, 30 SUPMODE students from Nice have developed and produced 14 original fashion looks inspired by the show that will debut at the event.
Julien Vaillant-Ciaparra, business development and partnership manager at Banijay Kids & Family, noted, “The culmination of this project provides an exceptional moment of visibility for the designers, giving them the opportunity to present their work on an international stage. For many of them, Totally Spies! is a series they grew up with, making the collaboration both creatively intuitive and meaningful. The result is a collection that reimagines Totally Spies!’ early 00s influences for today’s fashion landscape, and connects its pop‑culture heritage with emerging creative talent.”
Florence Traumat, founder and GM at SUPMODE, added: “Collaborating with Banijay Kids & Family on such an iconic franchise as Totally Spies! provided our students with a unique platform to engage with real industry standards while expressing their creative vision. This project perfectly reflects our commitment to bridging education and the professional world, empowering a new generation of designers at the intersection of fashion and pop culture.”
