Blue Ant Media has restructured its kids, family, and YA division, implementing a new model around three verticals, including content development and commercial strategy, to be led by Diana Rankin.
The business operates under Jennifer Twiner McCarron as president of kids, family, and YA within Blue Ant Studios, where Matt Hornburg, co-president, leads all global content development and production.
Rankin, as EVP for content development and commercial strategy. will drive the pipeline of originals and coproductions in kids, family, and YA for global buyers with a team that includes Hillary Zwick Turner as SVP of scripted and live-action content, and AJ Trauth as SVP, scripted, animation, and live-action content.
At Blue Ant Studios, Lindsay Macadam serves as EVP of scripted and live action with oversight from development through delivery, working with Turner, Trauth, and the development team. As EVP for animation, Joel Bradley leads 2D and 3D production services, co-productions, and originals. His leadership team includes two animation SVPs: Tori Coulthart leading Jam Filled Entertainment and Steve Grover running Atomic Cartoons.
The restructured kids, family, and YA team will work closely with Blue Ant Rights, including Richard Goldsmith, EVP, kids and family brands.
With the personnel changes, Lori McIndoe is stepping down as the president of Jam Filled Entertainment.
“The expansion of our Kids, Family & YA division brings together the full strength of our creative and commercial capabilities in a more unified and focused way,” said Twiner McCarron. “By aligning our development, production, and animation teams, we are better positioned to scale efficiently, respond to global demand for premium content, and drive long-term growth, while expanding our creative ambition and building a stronger slate of globally relevant IP for partners and audiences around the world.”
