Boat Rocker Studios is headed to Kidscreen Summit next week with a new live-action kids’ series, Girl Troop vs Aliens, a Lime Pictures production for BBC Children’s and Education.
Following a quartet of 12-year-olds who must take on alien invaders, the series was created by playwright Madeleine Perham, based on her acclaimed 2019 Edinburgh Fringe show, with Julia Kent as lead writer.
“This is such a fun and imaginative series that we know will be a hit with global audiences,” said Gia DeLaney, SVP for global sales and content, kids and family, at Boat Rocker Studios. “We’re so excited to present the show to buyers at Kidscreen Summit and introduce them to the brave and adventurous Brighthawks.”
