MIP London Unveils Full Kids & Teens Summit Lineup

The impressive lineup for MIP London’s Kids & Teens Summit will feature a session with Mairi Brewis, head of YouTube media partnerships in the U.K., and Patricia Hidalgo, director of BBC Children’s & Education; new data on the ecosystem; and explorations of key issues around funding, creator economy engagement and more; plus structured networking moderated by Futrhood Media’s Jo Redfern.

MIP London runs from February 22 to 24 at the IET London and The Savoy, with 1,500-plus delegates expected, including 650-plus buyers. The Kids & Teens Summit is a half-day program running on the Tuesday (February 24).

Brewis and Hidalgo will explore how PSBs can use YouTube to scale and engage audiences. Hidalgo will also participate in a state-of-the-industry panel with Delphine Dumont, chief commercial officer at Banijay Kids & Family; Raphaël Séjourné, founder and producer of Salgoss Productions; and Marcus Holmström, executive chairman at The Gang.

Cyrine Amor, research manager for commissioning at Ampere Analysis, and Candice Alessandra, international research director at Glance, will deliver new insights on the sector.

To explore issues around funding, monetization, and sustainable business models, MIP London has convened Hoho Entertainment’s Helen Howells, TeamFalco’s Nico Lockhart, 8 Lions’ Jiella Esmat, and Madgic Distribution’s Lionel Marty in a session moderated by John Reynolds of Flip Side Media. Andrew Bereza of Twin Atlas will be on hand to discuss Roblox.
