The Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood YouTube channel, which launched earlier this year via a partnership between Fred Rogers Productions and Little Dot Studios, has added three new original videos, running as part of YouTube Kids’ new arts and culture content Takeover experience.
Running through September 7, the Takeover experience brings museum experiences, space exploration, dinosaur studies, and history to young audiences with a range of exclusive videos.
The new behind-the-scenes playlist from Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood features David Newell, who played Mr. McFeely on Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood. Mr. McFeely’s Museum Tour of the Fred Rogers Exhibit sees Newell take audiences on a special tour of original pieces from the series on display at the Fred Rogers Exhibit, part of the Fred Rogers Institute at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. In Behind the Scenes with Mr. McFeely, Newell sits down at the Fred Rogers Archive to share stories from behind the scenes of the series. An Up-Close Look at the Treasures of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood showcases original puppets and costume pieces from the Fred Rogers Exhibit.
