Tippi T-Rex Lands in China with Digital Distribution & L&M Program

Tippi T-Rex, a preschool IP from Ánima Kitchent in partnership with Indonesia’s Mocca Studio, is rolling out in China with a multiplatform digital strategy and a consumer products deal in place.

24 Bridges, a subsidiary of Beijing-based Bridges Culture Transmission, acquired the exclusive rights in China to 52×5-minute episodes of the 2D series, four songs, and 14×3.5-minute shorts, in a deal brokered by GoldBee. The series has now landed in China, rolling out across a raft of digital platforms, including Youku, Tencent, iQIYI, Sohu, Xiaomi, Konka, FunTV, Baidu Smart Screen, Hisense, TCL, Coocaa, Huawei, NutTV, XGIMI, vivo, Migu, Wasu and LeTV, plus regional IPTV and DVB services. The distribution strategy combines one free episode with full subscription-based access.

24 Bridges has also been tapped as master licensee for consumer products in China. Key categories include food and beverage, publishing and plush toys, plus stage shows, gaming apps, theme parks, and promotion. Core ROI categories will include toys, luggage, tableware, and everyday consumer products.
