Xilam Animation has received a commission from Gulli for two additional seasons of the non-dialogue slapstick comedy Zig & Sharko.
Xilam has greenlit seasons five and six, each consisting of 52 7-minute episodes, delivering in 2027 and 2028, respectively.
The show has sold well for Xilam, with past seasons securing slots on Super RTL, Netflix, Warner Bros Discovery (France, Africa and Italy), DeAgostini, Ketnet, Panda Kids, TVP, NRK, DR TV, MTV3, Disney Channel (Poland), RTL Klub, Jiostar and more. It’s also been a hit on YouTube with almost 40 million subscribers and 22 billion views across eight channels, alongside significant footprints on TikTok, Facebook, and Snapchat.
