Blue Ant Rights has expanded its sales abilities in the Americas and AsiaPac with a series of promotions and a new hire.
“As we head into a new phase of growth for the company, these key executive appointments allow us to maximize our dedicated regional sales support in APAC and North America, critical to scaling our content portfolio and growing our genre offering,” said Mark Bishop, co-president of Blue Ant Studios. “We’ve built a leadership team with deep market expertise and strong global relationships with a clear goal to further expand Blue Ant Rights and unlock new opportunities for our premium content worldwide.”
Bryan Gabourie has been elevated to EVP of content monetization and head of Americas, overseeing regional sales and leading cross-functional content monetization initiatives across the company, including digital and VOD, plus playing a role in portfolio strategy and commercial decision-making. Nick Solowski has been promoted to VP of international sales for the U.S. and Canada, working with the overall Americas team.
Bruno Liporoni has been tapped as VP of international sales for Australia, New Zealand, and Japan, reporting to Jon Penn, managing director for AsiaPac. He joins from BBC Studios Australia. Jason Soh, VP of distribution for Asia, will assume expanded responsibilities, adding oversight of content sales in China and Korea.
The move comes on the heels of significant growth for Blue Ant Media in 2025, as the company completed its reverse takeover of Boat Rocker Media, listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, completed the acquisition of MagellanTV, and announced the proposed acquisition of Thunderbird Entertainment Group.
