Comcast Corporation’s content and experiences revenues delivered Q2 revenues of $10.7 billion, an increase of almost 23%, with gains at the studios and media segments and Peacock posting its first-ever profit.

Media revenues were $5.7 billion, a 25.3% improvement, with U.S. ad revenues rising by more than 50% to $2.2 billion, largely driven by Telemundo’s Spanish-language World Cup coverage, alongside NBA games and higher revenues at Peacock. The SVOD platform also boosted domestic distribution revenues, which rose by 22 percent to $2 billion. International network gains were more modest, increasing by 6% to $1.3 billion.

In the studios segment, content licensing revenues were flat at $1.8 billion, while theatrical revenues rose to $972 million, thanks to The Super Mario Galaxy MovieObsession, and the international distribution of Michael.

Theme parks, meanwhile, were up just 2.7% to $2.4 billion.
