Little Dot Studios Slate Tops 250 Channels, 30,000 Hours

With a slate of new deals, Little Dot Studios has expanded its suite of digital owned-and-operated networks to 250, delivering more than 30,000 hours of long-form premium content.

Connie Hodson, director of content acquisitions and partnerships at Little Dot Studios, said, “Last year we set out to double our network channels to 160, and this year we’ve already added another 90 on top of that, bringing our owned and operated total to 250 channels and surpassing 30,000 hours of premium content. HyperLaunch provides the infrastructure to rapidly deploy and monetize niche channels at scale. Paired with our strong network of world-class content partners, we consistently deliver premium, must-watch programming that deeply engages our audiences.”

The digital agency has landed 800 hours of new content across factual, lifestyle, and entertainment genres through six partnerships, a mix of new and returning. From BIG Media there’s a portfolio of 400 hours of English- and Spanish-language factual programming, including Crime Exposé and Off Season. From Passion Distribution comes 151 new factual hours, including Special Ops: Crime Squad UK, Into The Congo with Ben Fogle, and Charlie Luxton’s Homes By The Sea. A slate of 85 hours from Seven. One Studios International covers history and factual entertainment fare such as Boris Becker the Interview, How Factories Changed the World, and How Trains Changed the World. Under an existing partnership are 70 hours from Silverlining Rights covering mostly U.S. and Canadian territories for titles such as Ransom and Gypsy Kids. A new alliance with 3 Roads brings 56 hours of content, including Legends of Air Power Series, appearing on The American Story, and For the Love of Their Brother, appearing on Real Stories. A deal with Incendo covers 27 hours of romance and lifestyle programming for the US, Canada and U.K. for the First Comes Love channel. Content will be deployed across new niche channels, among them Food Vault, Luxury Homes, World’s Greatest Heists, Modern Warfare, and All Out Romance.

The company, now owned by Banijay Entertainment following the closing of the All3Media takeover, recently unveiled HyperLaunch, its proprietary optimization technology intended to tackle the challenges of discovery and audience fragmentation across the digital ecosystem. It also recently closed a 150-hour deal with Sphere Abacus and expanded its partnership with Warner Bros. International Television Production, covering more than 4,000 hours of content.
