FOX Television Network is bringing the Joel McHale comedy Animal Control back for a fifth season.
Distributed by FOX Entertainment Global, the series is available on FOX and Disney+/Hulu, with seasons one to three are on Netflix, with additional sales for the comedy worldwide.
“With the writing, ensemble, and audience response all landing at new levels, renewing Animal Control was an easy decision,” said Michael Thorn, president of FOX Television Network. “The series launched to new highs in its fourth season, which is a direct reflection of the show’s continued creative growth, outstanding producing team, and the incredible Joel McHale as our lead.”
The season four premiere outperformed all previous launches, with series highs across adults 18–49, total viewers, and 7-day multiplatform viewing. Seasons one to three have delivered more than 1 billion minutes watched in their first two months on Netflix.
Owned and produced by FOX Entertainment Studios, the series is executive produced by Bob Fisher, Rob Greenberg, Dan Sterling, showrunner Tad Quill, and McHale.
