Fuse Media has reached a licensing deal with Tribeca Films for weekly indie features for Fuse+ as well as titles for its FAST channels.
The content deal with the distribution label from Tribeca Enterprises and Giant Pictures delivers to Fuse+ subscribers a curated selection of titles. Features will premiere weekly on Saturdays through September 19, with additional films joining the service throughout the term of the multiyear agreement.
Titles from Tribeca Films and Giant Pictures will also feature on Fuse Media’s FAST channels, making their CTV premieres across OUTflix Movies, Complex TV, Shades of Black, LOL! Network, and El Rey Rebel.
The initial lineup for Fuse+ includes The Britto Doc and Egghead and Twinkie, Highland Park, and Little Boxes.
“Independent film tells all our stories, the often-overlooked narratives of our multicultural communities, Latino, Black, LGBTQ+, and the young adults who live at the intersection of all of it,” said Marc Leonard, chief content officer at Fuse Media. “Tribeca Films has spent two decades backing those storytellers. We’re excited and proud to bring Tribeca’s curated, inclusive titles to new audiences across OUTflix Movies, Complex TV, Shades of Black, LOL! Network, El Rey Rebel, and our Fuse+ subscribers.”
Madeleine Schumacher, head of content at Giant Pictures, added, “Fuse has built a platform that celebrates distinctive voices and independent storytelling, making it a natural home for these films.”
