Rewind Networks’ HITS NOW entertainment channel has revealed its new slate of first-run U.S. dramas, comedies, reality shows, and live events for its Asia-Pacific footprint, including its upcoming broadcast of the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards.
“HITS NOW is built around a simple proposition: bringing the best of current U.S. television to audiences across Asia, with the freshness and consistency that make a linear channel relevant in today’s increasingly fragmented viewing landscape,” said Sandie Lee, chief content officer. “This slate reflects that strategy, combining premium scripted content and proven franchises with award-winning unscripted entertainment, comedy and exclusive live programming. We believe this combination gives our pay-TV operators, telcos and OTT platform partners a strong, diverse content proposition and reinforces HITS NOW’s position as a leading destination for viewers in the region.”
The network’s new drama lineup includes the return of Matlock, several Dick Wolf shows—FBI, Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D.—Fire Country and its Sheriff Country spin-off, and the limited series The Miniature Wife. The non-scripted entertainment lineup features Survivor, Shark Tank and a new season of Hell’s Kitchen. HITS NOW also delivers a U.S. comedy slate with the return of Ghosts and the upcoming launch of Eternally Yours.
HITS NOW is available in 14 million homes across six markets: Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives. It is part of Rewind Networks’ portfolio of pay-TV brands, which also includes the flagship HITS and HITS MOVIES.
