A U.S. adaptation of the Keshet 12 comedy Save the Date is in the works at Sony Pictures Television as part of a multi-year, first-look deal the studio has sealed with Keshet International.
Under the terms of the deal, Sony Pictures Television will have exclusive first-look rights to develop and produce English-language adaptations of Keshet International’s scripted titles, working in collaboration with Keshet Studios in the U.S. Further, Keshet Studios will collaborate with Sony Pictures Television to develop original scripted series.
Dana Fox is attached as showrunner on the U.S. version of Save the Date. The original Israeli series has been ordered for a second season at Keshet 12.
