K 2000 and 100 Balas are producing a new Spanish original for SkyShowtime, Death in Llanes (Muerte en Llanes), adapted from a podcast about the murder of councilor Javier Ardines.
The limited series stars Javier Gutiérrez, María Vázquez, and Isak Férriz as it tells a story inspired by the Guardia Civil’s investigation into the murder of Ardines in August 2018. Created and written by Jesús Mesas Silva and directed by Gerardo Olivares, it is adapted from the podcast The Two Deaths of Javier Ardines.
