ZDF Studios has expanded its long-running association with Prima Group in the Czech Republic, delivering a slate of 360 titles from the Herzkino TV movie strand.
The strand is home to 90-minute TV movies, largely in the romance and comedy genres, and often based on well-known book IP. The deal with Prima includes films from the Rosamunde Pilcher, Inga Lindström, A Summer in…, and Katie Fforde collections. Some titles are being relicensed, and some are first-run, with rights covering free TV and basic cable in the Czech Republic, as well as Czech-language basic cable in Slovakia.
