FOX Entertainment Studios and Endemol Shine North America are developing an original scripted horror vertical series inspired by FOX's Fear Factor: House of Fear.

A comprehensive report from Holywater Tech and Owl & Co has projected that the global vertical video business outside of China will hit $150 billion in revenues this year, a gain of more than 40% on last year, with dedicated microdrama apps generating $4 billion.

Holywater, which operates the My Drama app for vertical series, has expanded its AI capabilities through the acquisition of Jeynix.

HOLYWATER, which operates the My Drama vertical series platform, among other services, has raised $22 million, led by Horizon Capital with the participation of Endeavor Catalyst and Wheelhouse, to power further expansion of its microdrama business.
