Impossible Factual and ZDF Studios have joined forces on a landmark documentary about the Herculaneum scrolls, the ancient texts buried by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius that were long deemed unreadable until a scientific discovery last month.

The Search for Leah Croucher: A Parent's Nightmare, a two-parter from Impossible Factual, with ITV Studios handling global distribution, is set to air on UKTV's U and U&W later this year.

Liberation: D-Day to Berlin, first produced by Impossible Factual for National Geographic's international channels, has been added to the distribution lineup at Serial Maven Studios.

ZDF Studios has landed the global distribution rights to Troy: The Schliemann Legacy, an Impossible Factual co-production with ZDF and Arte.
