Netflix has entered into a multiyear exclusive unscripted agreement with MEGUMI in Japan following the success of her first reality project with the platform, Badly in Love.

Netflix has unveiled the latest additions to its slate of originals in Japan— commissioning a live-action series, a film, an unscripted show, and an animated production—as well as an expanded alliance with Toho Studios.

Netflix has entered into a strategic pact with MAPPA, the Japanese studio behind Chainsaw Man and Jujutsu Kaisen, to develop new anime titles.
