RTL Group has restructured the leadership team at its German operations, led by Stephan Schmitter, following the final approval of its takeover of Sky Deutschland.

RTL Group's acquisition of Sky Deutschland has cleared its final regulatory hurdle, with the deal expected to close on June 1.

Streaming subscriptions and revenues posted double-digit gains at RTL Group as TV advertising and Fremantle revenues dipped, with overall revenues down by 3.8% in the year to €6 billion.
