The European Commission has approved Paramount Skydance's takeover of Warner Bros. Discovery, with conditions attached when it comes to film distribution operations.

The U.S. Department of Justice's antitrust division has wrapped its investigation into the acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery by Paramount Skydance, determining that it doesn't harm competition or American consumers across SVOD, linear, and content distribution and production.

Warner Bros. Discovery showcased its expansive cable portfolio at its Upfront, encompassing more than 3,000 hours across 225 new and returning shows.

Warner Bros. Discovery shareholders have voted "overwhelmingly" in favor of the sale to Paramount Skydance.
