BBC Studios has revealed a raft of presales and a new co-pro deal for Blue Planet III as its Showcase event kicks off in London.

Ahead of its Showcase returning for its milestone 50th edition next week, BBC Studios has clinched a range of output and library deals, including its biggest-ever mixed-genre package with the Seychelles Broadcasting Corporation (SBC) and a renewal of its pact with Croatia's HRT.

Ahead of its storied annual Showcase, BBC Studios has landed presales on Free Nelson Mandela (w.t.), a doc from Rogan Productions and GroupM Motion Entertainment for Channel 4.

BBC Studios has begun the search for a new London-based president of global content sales, with Janet Brown stepping down in April.
