Entre panas, a YouTube series backed by the Colombian beer brand Poker that has logged 80 million views across five seasons, has secured a slot on free-to-air television in the country via a deal with Canal RCN.
Entre panas will air on RCN on Thursday nights, beginning this week.
“For Poker, friendship has always been at the heart of the brand and its role is to unite friends, promoting a genuine and valuable socialization,” said Álvaro de Luna, VP of marketing at Poker’s parent company, Bavaria. “Entre panas was born ten years ago to tell those stories that arise when friends gather; it is an invitation to see each other more, to laugh, and to share with a Poker at the center, and that is why it has been so successful. Today, we are excited to see it take a new step: moving from the digital environment to free-to-air television in alliance with RCN.”
Christian Dieb, commercial VP at RCN, added, “Entre panas is a format that has already demonstrated its immense power to convene on digital platforms and which, in this new stage, raises the stakes with an exceptional cast and impeccable production. We are convinced that it will be the television event of the year, uniting friends in front of the TV with a fresh and exciting proposal.”
