RTL Deutschland started the new year with its RTL+ platform surpassing the 7 million paying subscriber mark.
The milestone comes at the start of a year that will see RTL take control of Sky Deutschland, further boosting its subscription business. Last year, the platform reached an average of more than 10 million monthly users. It is the fastest-growing streaming service in Germany.
The platform is migrating to the Bedrock streaming tech stack this year.
