Hope in the Water, from Andrew Zimmern and Intuitive Content, with David E. Kelley as executive advisor, is set to return to PBS for a second season, exploring the future of the oceans and sustainable blue food.
The second season, consisting of three episodes, lands on PBS in 2027 with Shailene Woodley alongside Zimmern and Kristen Kish.
“Hope in the Water sets out to tell hopeful, solution-driven stories about the future of our oceans and our food,” said Kelley. “It’s evident that these stories resonate, and we’re excited to continue the journey with PBS—exploring even more of the people and ideas helping to shape a more sustainable future.”
Funding for the second season was provided by the Builders Vision and the Walton Family Foundation. The show is made by Zimmern’s Intuitive Content with Patrick Weiland as EP. David E. Kelley serves as executive advisor with Michele Wallin as showrunner and Patrick McMahill as director.
