Radial Entertainment will bring World’s Most Evil Women, the latest expansion of the popular Most Evil true-crime franchise from Woodcut Media, to its FilmRise channel this summer
The two companies have collaborated on the new show, rooted in a shared desire to elevate the female perspective in the genre.
The ten-part series is distributed in the U.S. by Radial Entertainment, with Woodcut International handling sales for the rest of the world.
Madeline Chiari, series producer at Woodcut Media, said, “World’s Most Evil Women exposes how manipulation is weaponized to reach a goal, proving that sometimes a woman with a plan and a motive is the most lethal force imaginable. We gained exclusive access to people who knew the killers, who fought to get justice for their loved ones, and even a victim who lived to tell the tale. And the police officers who worked to expose the lies, the scheming, the manipulation, and the premeditation that led nature’s caregivers to take a life.”
Cristina Guggino, VP of originals and content partnerships for Radial Entertainment, added, “The most dangerous assumption in true crime is that evil has a gender. We greenlight originals with a clear point of view, and World’s Most Evil Women has one of the sharpest. Bringing it to audiences alongside longtime partner Woodcut Media is exactly the kind of collaboration that defines Radial Originals.”
