wedotv Expands LG Alliance

Six FAST channels from wedotv are headed to LG TV in MENA, Asia, and Latin America as part of an expanded alliance between the two companies.

LG in MENA has rolled out wedotv BIG stories and wedotv sports, plus wedotv cars and wedotv Get.Factual. In AsiaPac, LG TV users in Singapore and Taiwan will be able to watch wedotv movies and wedotv sports. wedotv amor: Piel Salvaje is headed to the LG TV service in LatAm and Brazil. Channels from wedotv have been carried on LG Channels in Europe since 2023.

Iza Piotrowska, global business development director at wedotv, commented, “A large part of what makes wedotv successful is our ability to adapt and customize our channels—and even create entirely new channels— for the markets we serve. These launches are indicative of that strategy. We customized content and marketing for each market to ensure that viewers’ interests and needs are met, and our platform partners succeed.”

The expanded alliance also means that LG TV users with a subscription to LG Gallery+, LG’s visual curation service, can access wedotv’s time2Rlx channel in South Korea, the U.S., the U.K., and across Europe.
