BBC Studios Kids & Family is teaming up with Alexi Wheeler’s Wheel In Motion and KADOKAWA Corporation in Japan for a live-action version of Eiko Kadono’s Kiki’s Delivery Service novel, previously adapted by Studio Ghibli as an anime feature film.
This is the first live-action series take on the beloved Japanese IP. The adaption is in development for a 10×30-minute series based on the first volume of the original six-book series. Irena Brignull is writing the script.
