Beta Film has landed an array of deals on the prequel series Gomorrah—The Origins, including with HBO Max in Germany and Turkiye.
The six-hour Gomorrah prequel is also headed to SBS Australia, STUDIOCANAL in France, ORF in Austria, TET in Latvia, and Nova in Greece. HBO Max Germany also picked up Gomorrah and the feature film The Immortal, bringing the franchise to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Luxembourg.
The series recently premiered on Sky Italia and will soon land on Sky in the U.K. Created by Leonardo Fasoli, Maddalena Ravagli, and Roberto Saviano, it is produced by Sky Studios and Cattleya, a part of ITV Studios.
Gomorrah is based on the bestseller Gomorra by Roberto Saviano and published by Arnaldo Mondadori Editore. On air for five seasons, the series sold to some 150 territories worldwide.
