YouTuber Alan Chikin Chow is working with Netflix and HYBE America on a scripted series about an aspiring K-pop band.
Chow is ranked as the most-watched YouTube Shorts creator. His series Alan’s Universe has close to 100 million subscribers and over 1 billion views per month. He will star in the series about pop idol rejects at an arts academy who form a musical group. The stars will release original music in conjunction with the show. Executive producers include Chow and Hybe America’s James Shin and Jingu Jang.
